A woman has sparked widespread debate on social media after urging women to become financially independent instead of relying on money obtained through sexual or romantic relationships.
In a viral video, she encouraged women to build their own careers and sources of income, arguing that earning money through legitimate means brings confidence, dignity, and lasting independence.
Speaking passionately, she said, “If all you have is sexually transmitted money as a woman, you don’t get money. You don’t get money.”
According to her, women whose finances depend entirely on money received through sexual relationships should reflect on their self-worth and long-term goals.
“If every penny in your account is somehow sexually transmitted money, you need to think again. We are dealing with some major self-esteem issues,” she stated.
She maintained that every woman, regardless of her background or circumstances, has the ability to earn an honest living.
“I generally do not believe that no matter your capacity in life, no matter your situation in life as a woman, that you cannot make money. You can make money,” she said.
The woman also argued that believing sex is the only path to financial security reflects a harmful mindset. Addressing men, she advised them to be cautious about entering relationships with women who rely solely on such means for survival.
“You as a man, and you find women like this, avoid them,” she remarked.
She went on to emphasize that earning one’s own income provides a sense of fulfillment and confidence that financial gifts from romantic partners cannot replace. Even if a partner is wealthy, she said, having a personal source of income gives a woman greater self-respect and independence.
Concluding her message, she declared, “Sexually transmitted money is not money. I know you all will say it’s sweet, but I want to tell you today that there’s another money that is sweeter, and that’s your own money.”
The video has since gone viral, generating mixed reactions online, with many praising her message on financial independence while others debated her choice of words.
