A man has recounted the shocking moment he caught his ex-girlfriend with another man at a club despite her claiming she was at home sleeping.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter), the man recalled how he confronted his ex after spotting her with another man, only for her to allegedly turn the situation around on him.
According to him, she asked him to wait for two minutes, promising to explain what was happening before leaving the club.
“I caught my ex with another guy in the club while she was supposed to be sleeping. She told me to wait two minutes, that she was gonna explain everything. I said OK,” he wrote.
The man explained that his ex left the venue, returned home and changed into her nightwear before calling him on video. However, instead of explaining herself, she accused him of cheating.
He recalled that she threatened to return with her brothers and demanded that he remain at the club until she arrived.
“She left the club, got a cab, went home, put on her pajamas, and started a video call. When I picked up, she started yelling at me, ‘What are you doing in the club at this hour? You’re cheating on me, aren’t you? Don’t you move, I’m coming with my brothers, you’re gonna explain yourself,’
Ten minutes later, she was there with them in front of the club. They beat me up without warning,” he added.
The man’s account has attracted attention online, with many people focusing on the unusual turn of events and the alleged confrontation that followed.
His experience has also prompted discussions about relationships, deception and how quickly a confrontation between partners can escalate into violence.
