The Federal Government has confirmed the evacuation of 266 more Nigerians from South Africa amid ongoing anti-migrant protests in the country. A returnee, Chikweze Igwe, said hostility from South Africans toward foreigners made his 13-year stay in the country difficult.
He said in an interview with Arise TV, “I’ve been in South Africa for 13 years now, their problem is that they don’t like foreigners. They are always threatening us. If you are working, they rob you. If you are in your house, the police come for you. If you are outside, they come for you. Anywhere you are, whatever you are doing, they are threatening you.
