The father of 14-year-old Ezekiel Olapade, Gbenga Olapade, has spoken out about the violent attack on Saturday night at his wife’s pub in Ilobu, Osun State, where he claims that he and other patrons were ambushed by thugs. The incident is reported to have taken place near the entrance of the Irepodun Local Government Secretariat.
According to him, the violence threw the neighbourhood into disarray and shocked families to their core. It happened unexpectedly as people were going about their daily lives.
