Activist and Sahara Reporters publisher, Omoyele Sowore, is expected to continue his defence in the alleged cyber-bullying case against him after counsel to the Department of State Services (DSS) did not seek the much-anticipated lengthy adjournment.
The development came during proceedings in the case, in which Sowore is facing charges over alleged cyber-bullying.
The DSS had been expected to request a lengthy adjournment, but its counsel did not make such a request, clearing the way for the defence to proceed with its case.
Sowore has denied the allegations and maintained his position in the ongoing legal proceedings.
The case is expected to continue with further defence proceedings.
