Super Eagles striker, Tolu Arokodare has emerged as a transfer target for Trabzonspor, who are seeking attacking reinforcements ahead of the new season.
The Turkish club are searching for a new centre-forward following Felipe Augusto’s move to Zenit St. Petersburg, with the Nigerian emerging as one of their main targets.
According to TRT Spor, Trabzonspor have submitted a loan proposal to Wolverhampton Wanderers for the 25-year-old, who is expected to leave this summer after their Premier League relegation.
Turkish journalist Zeki Uzundurukan also reported that Trabzonspor see the 25-year-old as a possible replacement for fellow Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu, should he leave the club this summer
Arokodare joined Wolves from KRC Genk last year but endured a challenging debut campaign, scoring seven goals and providing two assists in 42 appearances.
