In recent years, Türkiye has intensified mediation efforts across multiple conflict zones, including the Russia-Ukraine war, where it facilitated grain export agreements and hosted talks between the two sides.
Ankara has also played an active role in promoting regional stability in the Middle East, supporting diplomatic initiatives related to Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and the broader Gulf region.
More recently, Turkish officials welcomed the memorandum of understanding reached between Iran and the United States aimed at reducing tensions and creating a framework for further negotiations.
Ankara has repeatedly called for dialogue over confrontation, warning that escalating conflicts risk destabilising the wider region.
Türkiye has also maintained engagement with international organisations and regional partners to support ceasefires, humanitarian access and long-term political solutions in conflict areas.
