The United States has launched a new round of strikes against Iranian military targets as regional conflict continues to escalate.
“At 5:30 pm ET today, US forces began launching more strikes against Iranian military targets at the Commander in Chief’s direction,” CENTCOM said in a statement.
“The mission will continue to further degrade Iran’s ability to threaten civilian mariners and commercial vessels transiting regional waters,” CENTCOM wrote on X.
Meanwhile, Air defences have been activated in Kuwait to intercept a drone attack from Iran, according to the country‘s military.
The General Staff of the Army said that any explosion sounds are the results of drones being intercepted.
