Vector rejects “weaker vessel” mentality over sibling traumas

Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun David, popularly known as Vector Tha Viper, has weighed in on the popular opinion of women being the ‘weaker vessel’

While speaking with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on the MENtality podcast, the artist revealed that he does not agree with the view. He explained that his opinion of women is shaped by the experiences he has had with the women in his life.

Vector revealed that while growing up, he was bullied by his sisters to the point of being traumatised. He noted that his childhood experience shaped how he sees women in regards to strength

“I have never in my life looked at a woman as inferior. My sisters were bullies when we were growing up, they gave me PTSD. That why I don’t agree with the mentality of seeing a woman as weak because I have been through torture,” he said.
