Victoria Beckham finally addresses feud with son Brooklyn

Victoria Beckham has finally spoken publicly about her strained relationship with her son, Brooklyn Beckham, amid ongoing reports of a family feud.

The fashion designer addressed the matter in an interview with The Wall Street Journal, where she was questioned directly about the reported fallout following Brooklyn’s previous public comments against the family.

Although she did not mention her son by name, Victoria spoke emotionally about parenting and protecting her children in the public eye.

“We’ve always— we love our children so much,” she said.

“We’ve always tried to be the best parents that we can be. And you know, we’ve been in the public eye for more than 30 years right now, and all we’ve ever tried to do is protect our children and love our children.”

“And that’s all I really want to say about it,” she added.

Victoria also dismissed suggestions that the family tension had affected her business, insisting that customers are drawn to the quality of her products rather than her personal life.

“I think that ultimately people are buying my product because the product is really good,” she said.

“I don’t think they’re buying my eyeliner just because it’s me.”

The interview marks the first time Victoria has publicly addressed the reported rift since Brooklyn released a scathing statement in which he distanced himself from his family.

The alleged feud is said to have intensified following Brooklyn’s 2022 marriage to actress and model Nicola Peltz.

Reports suggest tensions stem from disagreements around the wedding and broader family dynamics, with Brooklyn previously accusing his parents of prioritising their public image over family relationships.

He has also made claims regarding his upbringing and interactions during the wedding ceremony, allegations that have been widely reported but strongly denied by the Beckham family
