The Lagos State Police Command has arrested a person recognized as Friday Onu, after a video exhibiting him attacking a feminine industrial driver, Yetunde Amole, on the Lekki-Epe Expressway went viral.
Onu was reportedly attempting to steal her automobile battery when the incident occurred.
The command’s spokesperson, CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, disclosed this to the press on Wednesday, April 9.
In accordance with Hundeyin, the incident occurred on Monday, April 7, across the Oriental Resort space.
As reported by The Punch, Onu was caught attempting to take Amole’s automobile battery and when Amole stopped him, he then attacked her.
Hundeyin defined that Onu was rapidly arrested by officers from the Maroko Division, however he later fell sick and needed to be moved to Falomo Police Hospital.
