“We miss you so much” – Wife and children of late actor Mr Igbo remember him on first anniversary of his death.
Saturday, June 28, marks the first anniversary of the death of veteran actor John Okafor, better known as Mr Igbo. His family is mourning his loss. Nollywood His wife Stella Marris shared photos of her and her children wearing clothes with Mr Igbo’s name on her Instagram page. She said they miss him so much and pray that he rests in peace.
“One year ago, you rested in peace. We miss you so much. Rest in peace, Amen.”
NewsWatch reported in March that the veteran actor, who had been fighting for his life for months, had passed away. Rollas, the president of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, announced that he died of cardiac arrest.
On Wednesday, June 26, 2024, the memorial service for the late actor was held, with many of his colleagues in attendance. The veteran actor was buried in his home state of Emeka on June 27.
In an initial statement, Stella Maris revealed that she was very sad on Father’s Day and shed tears while remembering her late husband. She spoke about the Enugu film industry, saying that it has been supportive and kind to her and her children since the actor’s death.
