A Nigerian lady who has known award-winning Nollywood actor, Alexx Ekubo for over two decades has shared details of their encounter.
Earlier, GistReel reported that the actor passed away on Monday, May 11, 2025, with tributes and condolences flooding in from fans and industry colleagues.
Lady Speaks Out
In a lengthy post on her Instagram handle, Sharon Ojong shared that she crossed paths with the actor at the University of Calabar (UNICAL).
According to her, prior to gaining the spotlight, the actor valued his privacy and rarely opened up about his distress.
Despite his difficulties, he sought time to visit her, pray for her, and show kindness to other individuals.
Lady Opens Up On Alexx Ekubo’s Character After Fame
Despite attaining fame, he travelled from Lagos Island to attend the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) service.
However, after the church service, they discussed life, purpose, and dreams.
Reflecting on the actor’s passing, the lady stated that it left her heartbroken and speechless.
Additionally, she offered condolences to the actor’s loved ones.
“Thank you for your kindness, your resilience, laugher and memories. You loved fully. My heart is broken and my heart is sealed. I will miss you terribly, rest well “,The post reads in part.
