What kind of would do such a thing to her – Nasarawa resident expresses concern over the condition of mentally ill pregnant woman

A Nigerian man, Imran Otuwose Oganji, has expressed concern after he observed that a known mentally ill woman is visibly pregnant. 

Oganji said he spotted the woman on Monday morning, July 13, 2026 at Sharp Corner junction in Mararaba, Nasarawa State. 

The incident left him disturbed and wondering what kind of a man would impregnate a mentally challenged woman. 

“MEN! If you’re familiar with the Sharp Corner junction here in Mararaba, then you should know this woman,” he wrote.

 

“This morning, I saw her at the junction, and to my surprise, I noticed she was pregnant. From the look of things, she should be about six or seven months gone.

 

“I kept wondering, what kind of man, in his right mind, would do such a thing to this woman? 

 

“It just doesn’t make any sense to me. So, what happens after she gives birth? Who will take care of her and the baby? I’m not even sure she can identify the person responsible. It’s just so sad.”
