The White House has launched a new streaming channel, dubbed ‘Trump TV’, providing viewers with direct access to content from President Donald Trump’s administration.
The channel, titled ‘TRUMP TV: The Essentials Station’, is available on the White House website and its YouTube channel.
Announcing the platform in a late Monday post, the White House said the stream would be updated in real time with major moments from the administration, official announcements and the latest developments.
“Not every big moment has made it on your tv, now it can,” the White House said.

The launch comes amid an escalating dispute between the Trump administration and several major US media organisations over press access and coverage of the president.
On Friday, Trump announced restrictions against CNN, MS NOW and Politico, accusing the outlets of publishing “fiction or lies” about his administration.
The affected organisations said their journalists were denied access to the White House on Saturday following the announcement.
In response, a coalition of major US networks, including ABC, CBS, Fox News and NBC, suspended their pooled coverage of Trump ahead of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The networks said in a joint statement on Monday that they were taking legal action to “defend the principle that the government does not decide what the press reports”.
Trump, however, hit back at the media organisations, describing them as “Third Rate Clowns” and the “Crooked and Corrupt Press”.
He also accused the outlets of attempting to “trivialise and demean” his achievements in office.
The latest dispute follows a decision by the White House in February to take control of the press pool that provides journalists with access to the president.
