In a statement issued on Tuesday, Team Neche said the decision was difficult but necessary, stressing that “life doesn’t pause for reality TV” and that the housemate had chosen what mattered most to her at this point in her life.
The team said Neche had entered the show with a clear ambition to make her mark and had quickly become a strong contender, earning the support of viewers during her short stay.
“Neche was a worthy competitor. She had the drive, the personality, the intelligence and the presence to go very far in this competition,” the statement said.
However, her team said her decision to leave demonstrated the same strength and character that had endeared her to viewers.
“Sometimes, life asks us to make difficult decisions even when the timing is not perfect,” it said.
