According to the TikTok post, she paid ₦1.2 million yearly, while the landlord increased it to ₦3.2 million, a 150% surge in rent.
Seeking clarity over the recent development about Lagos landlords, @hey_pelumi disclosed that her father owns a house in Port Harcourt and built her a room, which she considered her ideal.
The now-viral video captures the lady vacating her Lagos apartment and arriving at the airport, where she booked a flight to Port Harcourt.
Upon arriving home, she was welcomed with warm greetings.
