Nigerian politician Ned Nwoko has written a heartfelt note following his sons’ birthday.
Kemi Filani reported on Monday, June 29th, that Ned had celebrated his sons, Munir and Khalifa, with actress Regina Daniels as they turned 6 and 4. He said his heart was filled with gratitude to God for His faithfulness, and prayed for his sons.
To celebrate their birthday, he threw a low-key bash for them at his house.
Now, on his Instagram page, he wrote an appreciation post expressing gratitude for the prayers, kind wishes, and overwhelming love from the public. According to him, it made the occasion truly memorable.
Ned also appreciated his sons’ school, teachers, classmates, friends, and well-wishers for making the day special.

Since his separation from Regina, Nwoko has been single-handedly raising those kids.
A few days ago, Ned had shared a video on his Instagram page of his son with Regina Daniels, Munir, receiving an award at his school’s event. According to him, the award was recognition of his outstanding achievements and contributions during the academic year. See video here.
Earlier this year, despite being one of the busiest politicians, Ned Nwoko had attended his Munir and Khalifa’s inaugural school gala in Abuja. Ned described it as a proud and heartwarming moment to witness the excellence, discipline, and vision being instilled in them.
On Mother’s day, Ned surprised many as he wrote a note to the mothers of his children, which included Regina Daniels. He extended a heartfelt appreciation to them for their care, sacrifice, and commitment to nurturing the next generation. According to him, their efforts do not go unnoticed, and they remain central to all that truly matters.
Recall that in October, Regina ended things with him citing domestic violence as her reasons for leaving her marriage.
Ned, in a public statement, had attributed the tension to what he described as her “battle with drugs and alcohol abuse.” According to Nwoko, his efforts to help his wife seek professional treatment are always resisted.
In December, Daniels called out Ned for constantly publicising her children to garner negative attention from their father. She pointed out the irony that someone of his status could be posting his kids at this time, knowing fully well it would attract media scrutiny.
He responded saying that sharing photos and videos of the children had always been a normal part of family life. Nwoko stated that her absence from the children’s lives was a personal choice, not something imposed on her.
