Applications are now open for the 2026 edition of the Young Professionals Bootcamp (YPB), a residential fellowship programme created to equip young Nigerians with practical leadership, enterprise and career development skills.
The bootcamp is designed for ambitious young professionals, entrepreneurs and creatives who want to grow their careers, businesses and impact in Nigeria. Organisers say selected participants will also have the opportunity to pitch for grant funding, with up to N150 million available to support promising businesses and ventures.
The Young Professionals Bootcamp is a three-day intensive in-residence programme focused on training, mentorship, innovation and networking. According to the organisers, only 300 candidates will be selected from thousands of expected applications across the country.
Participants will receive practical training from experienced industry leaders and mentors in different sectors. The programme aims to help young Nigerians develop the skills needed to succeed in business, corporate careers and the creative industry.
Applicants must be between 20 and 35 years old by June 2026. They must also be final year students or graduates of tertiary institutions and citizens of Nigeria. Organisers added that applicants should be passionate about solving problems and contributing to Nigeria’s growth.
The bootcamp has three major workstreams. The Corporate Career track focuses on helping participants build professional and leadership skills for success in organisations. The Entrepreneurship track is designed for innovators and business owners looking to build and scale sustainable ventures. Meanwhile, the Creative Industry track supports talents in areas such as music, film, design and other parts of the creative economy.
One of the major highlights of the programme is the mentorship and networking opportunities available to fellows. Participants will meet successful professionals and industry experts who will share experiences and guidance to help shape their career journeys.
The organisers also explained that the application process is completely free. Attendance for selected candidates is also free, including accommodation, feeding and training materials throughout the bootcamp period. However, participants will be responsible for their transportation to and from the venue.
The 2026 Young Professionals Bootcamp is scheduled to hold in Lagos in June 2026, while the exact venue will be communicated to successful applicants.
