A Nigerian man has shared an emotional account of how his wife allegedly told him that he was not the biological father of their four children after spending more than 20 years raising them.
Speaking on the Talk with B Podcast, the man recalled the shocking moment his wife allegedly revealed that he was not the biological father of their children.
“One day my wife told me, ‘Mr man, I should inform you today so it won’t be that I’m wasting your time. You’re not the father of my children,” he lamented.
The man claimed that his wife went on to tell him that all four children belonged to her former partner and not him.
He further alleged that following the confession, the children stopped communicating with him and accepted their mother’s claims.
Although he initially considered conducting a DNA test, he said he later abandoned the idea after his wife insisted she was ready to stand by her statement anywhere.
“These are children I took care of for almost 20 years plus, without sharing bills with her, not even 100 naira. I took full responsibility of everything, even school fees. Forget about my body, I am already damaged,” he added.
According to him, the emotional weight of the revelation left him devastated, especially after dedicating decades of his life to caring for the children.
He said he eventually accepted the situation and told the children not to regard him as their father anymore if what their mother said was true.
The story has since sparked reactions online, with many social media users expressing sympathy for the man while debating the emotional and psychological impact of paternity-related revelations.
