Dear ADC, H.E. Atiku Abubakar, and H.E. Peter Obi,
If you are serious about winning the 2027 elections, then you must first be honest with yourselves about one simple truth: elections in Nigeria are not won by intention; they are won by strategy, structure, and sacrifice.
This is how to win 2027:
▪︎ Zone your presidential ticket to the South to allow the region to complete its turn. While this may not be a constitutional requirement, it remains a binding gentleman’s understanding that has helped sustain balance in Nigeria’s political system. Equity is not optional in Nigerian politics; it is foundational. After the eight years of Muhammadu Buhari, the moral and political argument for a southern presidency is both strong and defensible.
I acknowledge the argument that, since 1999, power has tilted more towards the South through Olusegun Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, and now Bola Ahmed Tinubu. But Nigerian politics has never been about perfect balance; it has always been about building the most viable path to victory. In that reality, zoning to the South at this moment is not just strategic, it is necessary.

Specifically, give your ticket to Peter Obi. He has publicly committed to a single term, which provides a credible bridge back to the North.
This is not just sentiment; it is strategic sequencing.
An Obi ticket does three things immediately:
* It energises younger voters who are currently disillusioned.
* It consolidates the South-East and makes inroads into the South-South.
* It disrupts the current electoral map and weakens the grip of the ruling party.
▪︎ Fix your internal contradictions or risk political extinction. The crisis within the party is not just embarrassing; it is dangerous. The recent Supreme Court outcome is not a victory; it is a reset into a legal battlefield you previously mishandled.
You ignored the Federal High Court when you should have engaged it. You escalated prematurely to the Appeal Court, and eventually the Supreme Court, without addressing the substance of the matter at the base. That was not a strategy; it was a costly miscalculation.

Now you are back where you started, in a more precarious position. The Federal High Court is no longer just a court; it is now a trap you walked into twice.
If unity within the ADC proves impossible, then take the bold decision: move together into another platform, even if it is the NDC, en masse. Fragmentation is political suicide. Consolidation is power. The clock is ticking faster.
How to lose 2027:
▪︎ Go into the election divided.
There is no complicated analysis here. A fractured opposition cannot defeat an incumbent president like Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who controls state resources, institutional leverage, and the full machinery of incumbency.
If you repeat the errors of 2023, you will not just lose, you will lose more decisively.
Learn from the CPC, ANPP, and ACN alliance that ushered in Muhammadu Buhari and birthed the APC in 2013. That merger was not driven by ego but by a clear, shared objective: defeat an incumbent. It required compromise, alignment, and sacrifice. That is the level of coordination required to win power in Nigeria.
The likely outcome if you fail to act:
