Nollywood actor Zubby Michael has spoken glowingly of Nigerian singer Davido, describing him as a kind-hearted individual who genuinely wants those around him to thrive.
Speaking in an interview, the actor said he holds the singer in high regard, praising his generosity and willingness to support others.
He also touched on his personal relationship with Davido, saying he is always thrilled whenever they cross paths.
He said he loves Davido deeply, describing him as a great guy with a good heart, adding that he values people not for what they physically possess but for their spirit, which he said Davido has in abundance.
He noted that the singer’s desire to see people around him succeed is a rare and admirable quality.
The actor recalled that during their first meeting, he ran up to the singer excitedly, filming videos and chanting “OBO,” an action that drew criticism from people who felt he was diminishing his own status by reacting that way.
He said he brushed off the criticism, telling those who queried him that they had no right to dictate how he should express his admiration for someone he genuinely adores.
Zubby Michael further disclosed that Davido was responsible for his first-ever experience on a private jet, an experience he said he will always cherish.
