The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new process allowing candidates to verify and upload their O’Level results from home.
The system enables JAMB to verify results directly with examination bodies, beginning with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC), reducing the need for candidates to visit CBT centres.
Here are the steps candidates should follow:
1. Visit the result verification platform
Go to buyresultsverificationcode.ng to begin the process.
2. Verify your NIN
Enter your National Identification Number (NIN) and click “Verify NIN”.
3. Select your examination details
Choose the number of O’Level sittings you want to verify and select the appropriate examination body or bodies.
4. Provide your contact details
Enter your email address and GSM number, then click “Pay Now”.
5. Make payment
Complete payment through the available payment gateway using your debit card or bank transfer.
6. Enter your examination details
After payment, provide your:

7. Verify your O’Level result
Verify the result or results for the number of sittings selected and obtain your Verification Code.
8. Send your verification code
Send “VERIFY” followed by your Verification Code to 55019 or 66019.
9. Wait for the upload notification
JAMB will upload your verified result and notify you when the process is completed.
10. Candidates with two sittings should check e-Facility
If you have two sittings, you will be notified to visit your JAMB e-Facility profile.
11. Select “2026 UTME O’Level Upload”
On your e-Facility dashboard, click “2026 UTME O’Level Upload”.
12. Enter your Verification Code
Input the Verification Code provided to you. Your two verified O’Level results will be displayed.
13. Select your required subjects
Choose the subjects you want to use for your admission application.
Candidates must select:
At least five subjects
No more than nine subjects
Each subject only once
14. Apply the O’Level results
Click “Apply the O’Level Results” after selecting the required subjects.
15. Confirm successful upload
A notification will be sent to you confirming that your O’Level results have been successfully submitted.
JAMB said the new process is designed to make O’Level result uploads easier, faster and safer while reducing visits to CBT centres, queues and errors associated with manual uploads.
The Board also said the system would help tackle the presentation of fraudulent or unverified results by allowing candidates’ results to be checked directly against the records of the issuing examination bodies.
