Prominent chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Alhaji Ibrahim Ali Amin Little, has officially purchased the party’s governorship nomination form at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.
Speaking with newsmen shortly after obtaining the form, the former APP Chairman in Kano and ADC governorship hopeful expressed confidence in emerging victorious at both the party primaries and the general election.
According to him, his decision to join the race is driven by the desire to rescue Kano State from what he described as incompetent leadership and to lay the foundation for a modern, prosperous and people-oriented Kano.

“My interest is the people of Kano. We must ensure the total eradication of political thuggery, strengthen social welfare and prioritise poverty eradication, alongside the provision of basic amenities, quality education, functional hospitals and adequate water supply. These are the issues that concern me most,” he stated.
A statement issued by his executive assistant, Adnan Mukhtar, on Thursday said Little further stressed that his administration, if elected, would prioritise agriculture, youth empowerment, industrial revival and economic development across the state.
“I will boost farming in Kano and create opportunities for our teeming youths. We will ensure the revival of our industries to stimulate economic growth, create jobs and restore Kano’s position as the commercial hub of Northern Nigeria,” he added.

He assured party supporters and the people of Kano that his ambition is built on competence, inclusiveness and genuine commitment to service, expressing optimism that the ADC would provide a credible alternative for the people in 2027.
