Nigerian music veteran Innocent Ujah Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has announced plans to release a new album titled Oldest Young Man.
The award-winning singer made the announcement on his Instagram page, sharing photographs of himself and describing the forthcoming project as a new album.
“I’ve lived it. I’ve seen it. I’m still here. My new album, OLDEST YOUNG MAN, soon come,” 2Baba wrote.
The announcement has sparked anticipation among fans, with the artiste yet to disclose the album’s release date or tracklist.
2Baba, formerly known as 2Face Idibia, has remained one of Nigeria’s most enduring music figures, with a career spanning decades.
He began his solo career after the dissolution of Plantashun Boiz and released his debut album, Face 2 Face, in 2004.
The album produced the enduring hit African Queen, which helped establish 2Baba as one of the leading voices of Nigeria’s modern pop era.
His subsequent albums include Grass 2 Grace, The Unstoppable, Away & Beyond, Ascension and Warriors, released in 2020.
