Dutch prosecutors are holding 32 people over a violent attack that killed a security guard and injured two police officers in Overasselt.
Police initially arrested 34 people following the attack in the Gelderland village.
Authorities released two suspects because investigators could not establish a strong enough connection between them and the crime scenes.
The remaining suspects include 16 French nationals, 11 Dutch nationals, two Algerians, one Libyan, one Ukrainian and one Belgian.
Two of the French suspects are minors aged 16 and 17. The other suspects are men aged between 18 and 32.
Prosecutors suspect the group of involvement in the murder or manslaughter of the security guard.
They are also investigating the group over the attempted murder of two police officers.
Other allegations include preparing murder, manslaughter, hostage-taking, unlawful detention and firearm offences.
CCTV footage reportedly shows dozens of masked men arriving in a truck outside a property. Some were carrying heavy weapons.
One of the attackers allegedly shot a man sitting inside a car.
The group later opened fire on responding police officers, injuring two of them.
Investigators have not yet established which suspects fired the shots. Prosecutors are currently treating the 32 people as a group while police determine what each person allegedly did.
A video posted online after the attack allegedly contained threats against the resident of the targeted property.
Reports have linked the incident to a possible dispute involving organised drug crime. Authorities are still investigating the motive.
The resident, identified in Dutch reports as Jan G. Jr, cannot enter the Overasselt council area for at least two weeks.
Officials have also banned him from living at the property for at least one year.
The court must decide whether the 32 suspects should remain in custody as the investigation continues.
The allegations have not been proven in court.
