Adesua Etomi-Wellington reflects on marriage to Banky W

Nollywood actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington has spoken about her expectations for marriage, revealing that her partner embodies qualities she once said she didn’t want.

While speaking on the Teju Babyface podcast with her husband, Adesua disclosed that there were three things she strongly prayed against in a partner, adding that Banky W eventually turned out to be all three.

She explained that she had strongly expressed a desire not to marry a musician, a politician, or a pastor.

“Before I met my husband I had a few requirements that I told God very strongly that I did not want. I did not want to marry a musician. I did not want to marry a politician. And I did not want to marry a pastor. But God gave me all three,” she stated.
