Sean “Diddy” Combs’ projected federal prison release date has been moved forward again, with the U.S. Bureau of Prisons now listing February 5, 2028, as his expected release date.
According to a report by TMZ (@TMZ) on X, citing Bureau of Prisons records, the date was moved up by 15 days from the previously listed February 20, 2028.
Combs is currently serving his sentence at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey, after being convicted in 2025 on two counts of transporting individuals across state lines for prostitution.
He was sentenced to 50 months in prison after a federal jury acquitted him of the more serious charges of sex trafficking and racketeering conspiracy.

The latest adjustment is the latest in a series of changes to Combs’ projected release date. His expected release was initially listed for June 2028 before being moved forward several times.
In July, TMZ reported that the Bureau of Prisons had moved the date to January 24, 2028. However, following Combs’ reported altercation with another inmate at Fort Dix, the date was later changed to February 20.
TMZ reported that the prison confrontation began after another inmate allegedly insulted Combs, leading to a scuffle that was stopped by prison staff. Combs was subsequently placed in solitary confinement before being released from the unit in August.
