The Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 2 Command, AIG Olohundare Moshood Jimoh, has urged Nigerians to allow the law to take its course rather than taking justice into their own hands.
AIG Jimoh made the call while receiving the Publisher of National Express Newspaper, Dr Wole Odunsi, and his team at the Zone 2 Command headquarters.
Dr Odunsi said the visit was to honour the police chief with an award in recognition of his leadership and professional conduct.
Responding, AIG Jimoh attributed the recognition to his commitment to integrity, noting that he would not have been admitted as a Fellow of the Institute of Fraud Examiners of Nigeria without maintaining a credible record.
