APC Governorship Primary Peaceful Amidst Tight Security In Nasarawa

As members of the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC), gathered today to elect their flag bearers across the state, the exercise was peacefully amidst tight security in Lafia the Nasarawa State capital.

Daily Independent while monitoring the exercise in Lafia, the state capital report that at the Makama Ward where former Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu, exercise his franchised the exercise was peacefully.

In Gayam ward, at Saint William where voting point also take place former Inspector General of Police was massively received.

Daily Independent also gathered that the governorship election was more organised and visible than other previous elections held in the past.

It was also gathered that the exercise was under tight security personnel who were deployed to ensure peaceful exercise in the state.

Speaking shortly after exercise his franchised the gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressive Congress APC Inspector General of Police Mohammed Abubakar Adamu described the exercise as peaceful.

He said that his expectation was that the electoral officials should records exactly what they have counted for the sake peace.

As at time of filing in the report it was also gathered that elections were also held across the state peaceful.
