APC primarA member of the National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress, Aare Tolu Bankole, has congratulated candidates who emerged victorious in the party’s primaries across the country, urging members to unite ahead of the general elections.
Bankole, in a statement issued on Tuesday in Abuja, described the conduct of the primaries as evidence of the APC’s internal democratic culture and organisational strength.
He said the transparent process reflected the party’s commitment to fairness, inclusiveness and democratic participation.
The APC chieftain particularly congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his victory at the presidential primaries, describing the outcome as a reflection of the confidence party members have in his leadership.
According to him, Tinubu has demonstrated courage and commitment to national development through economic reforms, infrastructure projects and institutional strengthening since assuming office.
Bankole added that the President’s victory symbolised continuity and consolidation of the achievements recorded under the current administration.
He also congratulated governorship, senatorial, House of Representatives, State House of Assembly and local government candidates who secured the party’s tickets in their respective constituencies.
The APC NWC member urged aggrieved aspirants and party stakeholders to embrace reconciliation and sportsmanship in the interest of the party.
“There are no winners or losers within the APC family. The larger objective remains the success of the party and the continued progress of Nigeria,” he stated.
Bankole called on party members to begin mobilisation and grassroots engagement ahead of the elections, stressing that the APC remained the most experienced and nationally accepted political platform in the country.
He expressed confidence that Nigerians would continue to support the ruling party based on its record of leadership and commitment to national development.
