The Osun State chapter of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, has announced plans to hold three mega rallies across the state ahead of the August 15 governorship election.
In a statement signed by the Publicity Secretary of Osun ADC, Abosede Oluwaseun, the party said the rallies will hold in Ile-Ife on Tuesday, July 21, 2026; Iwo on Tuesday, July 28, 2026; and Osogbo on Saturday, August 8, 2026.
The statement said the rallies will be led by ADC National Secretary, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, and the party’s governorship candidate, Dr Najeem Salaam.
Members of the National Leadership and other distinguished leaders of the party are also expected to attend.

The statement called on all state executives, local government executives, ward executives, polling unit officers, members and supporters to mobilise massively for full participation.
“Let us demonstrate our collective strength, unity, and unwavering commitment to the success of the African Democratic Congress in the forthcoming elections,” the statement said.
The party said further details regarding venues and commencement times for each rally will be communicated in due course.
ADC described the engagements as part of efforts to galvanise support and move Osun State forward ahead of the August poll.
