The club disclosed the development in a statement shared on its official X handle on Saturday, July 25 describing the incident as a tragic loss.
“FC Barcelona deeply regrets the death of the worker who lost his life yesterday in the workplace accident that occurred during the renovation works at Spotify Camp Nou,” the statement said.

The La Liga champions extended condolences to the deceased’s family, friends and colleagues.
“The Club wishes to express its deepest condolences and extend its heartfelt support to his family, friends, and colleagues,” Barcelona added.
