Scribz Riley, a close associate of Talay Riley, has broken his silence on the singer’s tragic passing.
It would be recalled that the singer was fatally stabbed in Silvertown, East London, on 5 June 2026.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Scribz Riley recounted their last conversation about chasing dreams and staying positive.
Reflecting on the singer’s legacy, Scribz Riley described him as a friend, mentor, and inspiration.
According to him, his legacy continues to live on through his music, family, and friends.
”You inspired so many people and your legacy will continue to live on through your legacy will continue to live on through your music, your family and friends“,The post reads.
Talay Riley’s Biography
Born to a Nigerian family in London. Talay first remembers singing at age 5, influenced by his older brother and sister playing MC Hammer CDs. Growing up in East London, he was exposed to pop music of the early 1990s.
At 18, he signed his first major publishing deal with Global Publishing. He studied business and law at Kingston University.
His first appearance was in 2009 on rapper Chipmunk’s single ‘Look for Me’, which hit #7 on the UK Singles Chart.
Additionally, he signed with Jive/Sony Records as both songwriter and artist.
