The Borno State Arabic and Sangaya Education Board (BOSASEB) has announced the successful candidates shortlisted for Phase II of its recruitment exercise into newly established Higher Islamic Schools across the state.
In a press release issued from the Musa Usman Secretariat in Maiduguri, the board confirmed that candidates who applied for teaching positions in Bama, Chibok, Gwoza, Kaga, and Marte Local Government Areas have progressed to the next stage of the selection process. The Phase II exercise will include an aptitude test and oral interview.
According to the board, the development marks a significant step in strengthening the quality of education in the newly established institutions, which are part of broader efforts to improve access to Islamic and formal education in underserved communities.
Candidates have been advised to remain attentive, as details regarding the date, time, and venue for the aptitude test and oral interview will be communicated soon through official channels. The board emphasised the importance of regularly checking for updates to avoid missing critical information.
“The date, time, and venue for the Aptitude Test and Oral Interview will be communicated in due course through this same channel,” the statement noted, urging candidates to stay prepared for the next phase.
The announcement was signed by Aisha Wakil Abbas, Acting Director of Administration and Supply at BOSASEB.
The recruitment exercise is part of ongoing efforts by the Borno State government to enhance educational development and provide qualified teaching personnel across key local government areas.
