BREAKING: Ghalibaf Warns Trump: Our Fingers Are On The Trigger, We Won’t Hesitate To Crush Iran’s Enemy

According to a report by Times of Israel, on Friday June 19, 2026, Iran’s chief negotiator Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf has declared that any future talks with the United States will remain strictly bound by Tehran’s “red lines,” warning that the Islamic Republic stands ready to deliver a forceful response to any party that oversteps those boundaries.

Speaking in remarks carried by the official IRNA news agency, Ghalibaf said Iran has consistently honored the principles guiding its negotiating stance and would continue to do so going forward.

He emphasized that Tehran’s negotiating team has never wavered from the conditions it set out, nor from its commitment to safeguarding the interests of the Iranian people throughout previous rounds of dialogue.

“As we have shown in the past path of negotiations, we are steadfast in fulfilling the conditions and red lines set, and in achieving the interests of the Iranian nation,” Ghalibaf said, according to IRNA.

The senior Iranian official went further, issuing a pointed warning to adversaries who might attempt to push Tehran beyond its accepted limits during diplomatic exchanges.

He stated that Iran has already demonstrated its readiness to act decisively if provoked.

“If the enemy seeks to be excessive, we have proven that our fingers are on the trigger and we have no hesitation in giving a crushing response to the enemy,” he added.

Ghalibaf’s comments come amid renewed attention on Iran’s approach to negotiations with Washington, with Tehran repeatedly signaling that any engagement must respect the boundaries it considers non-negotiable.

The remarks were published as part of broader coverage by IRNA detailing official statements from Iranian leadership on the country’s foreign policy direction.

No further details were immediately available regarding the specific timeline or scope of upcoming talks.
