He described the group as a fast-growing political force spreading across the country. “If this movement had existed in the last election, many of our votes that were not counted would have been counted,” Akpabio said.
He urged members to remain focused as they mobilize and sensitize Nigerians, noting that other political parties are not doing the same groundwork. He added that claims of rigging will come after Tinubu’s victory, but the group should ignore them.
The Senate President, who is also Grand Patron of the movement, advised Nigerian youths to shun cultism and drug abuse. He said it would be a tragedy for young people with potential to derail.
Earlier, the Director-General of the City Boy Movement, Francis Shoga, said the visit was to seek the Senate President’s guidance as the group expands its activities nationwide.
