The Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority (FHA), Oyetunde Ojo, has said that President Bola Tinubu places greater emphasis on performance and results than on frequent access to the Presidency by political appointees seeking financial support.
Speaking during an interview on TVC, Ojo noted that many public office holders mistakenly believe that maintaining a constant presence around the President could provide easier access to government funds. He stressed that Tinubu expects those entrusted with leadership positions to focus on delivering on their mandates rather than lobbying for financial assistance.
Ojo, who is related to the President through family ties, said he has deliberately avoided relying on his relationship with Tinubu to seek advantages or additional funding for the agency he heads.
