According to Vanguard, on Sunday, June 21, 2026, A Fulani socio-cultural organisation, the Concerned Fulani People of Nigeria (TCFPN), has urged President Bola Tinubu, Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde and other South-West governors to caution Yoruba nation agitator Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, over what it described as inflammatory remarks targeting Fulani communities in Oyo State.
The group’s reaction follows reports that Igboho issued a two-hour ultimatum to Fulani leaders in Igboho town, Oorelope Local Government Area, demanding the release of a woman, her children and a sibling allegedly abducted by suspected kidnappers. The ultimatum was delivered during a meeting at the palace of the town’s monarch, attended by traditional rulers, community chiefs and divisional police officers.
