Shanks, a well-known Nigerian comedian, has sparked discussion on the internet after openly disclosing that his hustle is not motivated by family, legacy, or long-term goals.
The content producer openly stated in a widely shared video that living in Ikoyi, one of Lagos’ most prestigious areas, is the main source of his drive.
“Whatever you do in this life, make sure you have enough money to move to Ikoyi,” he said. “I’m not even putting in a lot of effort for my kids or parents. I’m putting a lot of effort toward moving to Ikoyi. “This is my future,” he continued.
