Members of Ogyaba’s church lined the aisle of their auditorium with handkerchiefs and pieces of cloth, laying them carefully along the floor in the belief that having their pastor walk over the items would open the door to miracles in their lives.
Footage from the service shows a long trail of neatly arranged fabrics, ranging from patterned cloths to plain handkerchiefs, stretching down the central walkway as congregants stood on either side, watching closely.
When the pastor entered and began making his way through, stepping directly onto the laid-out items, members responded by kneeling in his path, some visibly moved by the moment as it unfolded.
The practice reflects a belief held within certain church communities that physical contact between a spiritual leader and personal items can transfer some form of blessing or breakthrough to the owner, a tradition that has drawn both devoted support and public scrutiny in equal measure whenever such scenes surface online.
Whether the moment brought 0the miracles they’re seeking remains, as with matters of faith, something only time will tell.
