Dataphyte Foundation has begun notifying successful applicants shortlisted as enumerators for its Police Service Access Gap Research project.
Selected candidates received email notifications confirming their selection for the research exercise, which focuses on data collection across assigned local government areas.
In the message sent to applicants, the organisation said, “We are pleased to inform you that you have been selected as an enumerator for our Police Service Access Gap Research.”
The foundation also noted that the selection process was highly competitive due to the large number of applications received from across the country.
“Your selection reflects our confidence in your ability to support high-quality data collection across your assigned local government area,” the message added.
According to the notification, shortlisted candidates will receive additional communication in the coming days regarding onboarding, training, and other next steps for the research project.
The Police Service Access Gap Research is expected to gather data that will support conversations around access to police services and public safety issues in different communities.
Dataphyte Foundation thanked successful applicants for their willingness to contribute to what it described as an important national research initiative.
The latest update comes after the organisation earlier opened applications for enumerators interested in participating in the field research exercise.
