West Bromwich Albion have handed Nigerian goalkeeper Brian Okonkwo a new two-year contract, extending the stay of the younger brother of Super Eagles and AFC Wrexham shot-stopper Arthur Okonkwo at The Hawthorns.
According to a report by Soccernet on Friday, July 3, 2026, Brian followed a similar career path to his elder brother by progressing through Arsenal’s renowned Hale End Academy. He joined West Brom last summer on a one-year deal after a successful trial with the club’s Under-21 side.
