Nigerian gospel singer and trumpeter Nathaniel Bassey has celebrated himself on his 45th birthday, expressing gratitude to God for His faithfulness throughout his life.
In a post on X, Bassey described himself as a beneficiary of God’s help and called on his fans and followers to join him in giving thanks for another year.
“45 ! This boy here is helped by God. From A to Z, it is God all the way. Saints, Today, please help me Thank Him. Give Him all the glory on my behalf,” he wrote.
The gospel minister also declared his new age as “The year of The LORD’s favour. The year of New Beauty. The year of Honour,” while offering prayers for the year ahead.
He concluded the message with a biblical reference from Luke 4:19, writing, “to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
His post has since attracted an outpouring of congratulatory messages from fans, followers and well-wishers, who praised his ministry and prayed for greater blessings, wisdom, strength and longevity.
One follower, Samantha, wrote, “Happy Birthday pastor Nathaniel, May the Lord bless with abundant Blessing, Annoiting, Wisdom, Long life and Favours.
