Nigerian singer and songwriter Folarin Odunlami, popularly known as Fola, has paid an exclusive visit to Chelsea Football Club’s iconic Stamford Bridge stadium in West London, United Kingdom.
The singer took to his X page (formally Twitter) to mark the moment with photos and video from the visit.
He wrote: “From peeping at viewing centres to invitations to the bridge”.
The charting musician, who has been making significant waves across the international music scene, took some well-deserved time out of his busy European promotional schedule to tour the historic grounds.
Fola wore a customised Chelsea jersey with the name “striker” written on the back and the number 9, as he was treated to a behind-the-scenes experience of the Blues’ famous home.
The photographs capture Fola walking through the player’s tunnel, posing alongside the pitch, and exploring the club’s prestigious trophy room and conference room.
The Stamford Bridge visit further highlights the growing global connection between the Afrobeats music scene and global football culture.
