The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), RS11.1 Osun Sector Command, held a three-day monthly Special Intervention Patrol, with the theme “Operation Sanity” between Monday 20th and Wednesday 22nd July 2026.
The Sector Public Education Officer, Osun State SRC Agnes Ogungbemi disclosed this in a statement made available to Newsmen in Osogbo.
The operation was aimed at drastically reducing road traffic crashes resulting from overloading, route violations, and excessive speeding through intensified enforcement, robust public enlightenment campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and improved operational visibility across the state.
The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Sunday Tayo Adebayo, urged all motorists, transport operators, and other road users to comply with traffic rules and regulations, avoid dangerous driving practices, and cooperate with FRSC personnel throughout the exercise.
