Veteran Ghanaian gospel musician Bernice Offei has been found safe after she was reported missing in Accra.
Offei was last seen on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, around Nyaho-Tamakloe Street in Agbogba.
Her family and friends raised an alert after they could not confirm her whereabouts.
A missing-person notice carrying her photograph and contact details circulated widely on social media.
The notice listed Offei as 63 years old and asked anyone with information to contact her family or report to the nearest police station.
Several gospel musicians joined the search.
Diana Hamilton and Empress Gifty were among those who shared the appeal and asked the public to help find her.
Within about 24 hours, another notice confirmed that Offei had been located and was safe.
Reports also said she had reunited with her family.
“Thank you to everyone who helped share and support. Your vigilance and prayers made a difference!” the update said.
Her family has not disclosed where she was found.
They have also not revealed what caused her disappearance or whether she received medical treatment.
Bernice Offei is known for gospel songs including “Hold On” and “Life Is So Short.”
She has worked in Ghana’s gospel music industry for several decades and previously combined music with a banking career.
