Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has expressed condolences to Professor Abdullahi Saleh Pakistan, the immediate past Chairman of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and Kano State Chairman of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa Iqamatis Sunnah (JIBWIS), following the passing of his beloved wife.
In a condolence message issued by the Governor’s Spokesperson, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, in Kano on Sunday, Governor Yusuf described the death as a painful and irreparable loss, not only to Professor Pakistan and his immediate family but also to the wider Islamic community, relatives, friends, associates, and all those whose lives were touched by the deceased.
The Governor noted that the late wife of Professor Pakistan lived a life characterized by piety, humility, compassion, and dedication to family and community values. He said her demise has created a vacuum that will be deeply felt by those who knew her and benefited from her kindness, wisdom, and motherly counsel.

According to Governor Yusuf, moments such as this remind humanity of the transient nature of life and the need for steadfast faith in the will of Almighty Allah. He urged the bereaved family to take solace in the teachings of Islam, which emphasize patience, perseverance, and complete submission to the decree of Allah.
On behalf of the Government and good people of Kano State, Governor Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, envelop her in His boundless mercy, widen and illuminate her grave, and admit her into the highest ranks of Aljannatul Firdaus.
He further prayed for Allah to grant Professor Pakistan, his children, family members, and loved ones the strength, patience, and fortitude to bear the painful loss and overcome this difficult period.
