Erling Haaland and Gabriel Magalhães have been named in the 2026 Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Premier League Team of the Year following their impressive campaigns for Manchester City and Arsenal respectively.
The 11-man team, selected by fellow professional players, was unveiled at the 2026 PFA Awards on Tuesday, with Arsenal and Manchester City dominating the selection.
Haaland earned his place in the attack after another prolific season, scoring 27 Premier League goals to win the Golden Boot. He is joined in the forward line by Manchester City teammate Antoine Semenyo and Brentford striker Igor Thiago.
Gabriel was one of five Arsenal players selected in the XI, alongside goalkeeper David Raya, William Saliba, Jurriën Timber and Declan Rice.
Manchester City also had four representatives, with Haaland, Semenyo, Rayan Cherki and Nico O’Reilly making the team, while Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes completed the midfield.

The selection comes after Fernandes was named the PFA Players’ Player of the Year, having set a new Premier League record with 21 assists during the 2025/26 campaign.
