Former BBNaija star Saga Adeolu has opened up about the realities of kissing scenes in films, describing them as uncomfortable and far from romantic.
According to him, many people assume onscreen kisses are enjoyable, but in reality, actors often go through awkward and challenging moments while filming such scenes.
“Kissing in films isn’t easy; kissing another actor is weird. I have not really had any good onscreen kiss; having people invade your mouth with saliva. It’s not something we enjoy.
People think we enjoy it, but we don’t. We’re just doing it for the story. If I had my way, I won’t kiss anyone in film. I feel it’s one thing that’s unappreciated. Clap for us when we kiss in a film,” he said.
Saga further revealed that actors sometimes have to perform multiple kissing scenes in a short period, which can be exhausting and uncomfortable.
He also shared a personal experience that surprised many:
“There was a day I kissed four girls.”
